Region of Hlohovec offers to visitor also many opportunities for learning about institutions of the museum nature. The Vlastivedné (Hemeland) museum in Hlohovec plays a central role on this field and covers the entire region. The regional character of this institution indicates eight permanent exposures of science and social science. Expositions, smaller commemorative rooms and exhibitions representing traditional folk culture, architecture become gradually more and more popular. Nice examples of such initiatives are in Červeník where we can find a permanent ethnographic exhibition. Exposure with ethnographic material also expands in the municipal office in village of Siladice. Historic agricultural machines that illustrate methods and techniques of farming, harvesting and crop processing in the past are located in spaces of the agricultural farm in Madunice. The presence of prison in the premises of Leopoldov fortress can be considered as a nationwide rarity. The literary Museum is as well located in the region. It is the memorial room of Jan Holly in Madunice that is part of his commemorative zone.
